Capabilities

What we are able to take on.

Konect Groupe works on systems whose interruption has direct consequences for an administration, an essential business or a population.

The pages below set out the issue, the intended outcome and our role. They do not describe products, architectures, or the means deployed at our clients’ premises. Those belong to controlled exchanges.

  1. 01

    Systems integration and modernisation

Making heterogeneous systems work together without interrupting service, and reducing the technical debt already accumulated.

  2. 02

    Cybersecurity and resilience

Reducing exposure, detecting compromise, and keeping essential functions running through an incident.

  3. 03

    Data, analytics and decision support

Turning scattered data into dependable elements of decision, with human control over critical decisions.

  4. 04

    Digital government

Designing public digital services usable by the whole population, including offline and outside the capital.

  5. 05

    Cloud and critical digital infrastructure

Building and operating infrastructure whose location, availability and reversibility are under control.

  6. 06

    Mission systems and coordination

Giving field organisations a shared view of the situation and means of coordination that survive degradation.

  7. 07

    Advisory and programme delivery

Structuring multi-year programmes so that decisions are taken at the right moment and on the right evidence.

Common to all seven domains

Where the system runs.

The deployment mode is not a consequence of the architecture: it is a decision of the client organisation, taken before design, from which the architecture follows.

Deployment modes

Encryption keys held by the client organisation

Konect keeps no copy, whichever mode is chosen.

  1. National infrastructure

    • AccessPublic network
    • ProcessingPublic network
    • DataSegregated

Execution and data residency within the organisation’s own territory.

  2. Hybrid environment

    • AccessPublic network
    • ProcessingSegregated
    • DataSegregated

Sensitive processing stays local; the rest may be shared.

  3. Isolated environment

    • AccessSegregated
    • ProcessingSegregated
    • DataSegregated

No link to the public network. Exchanges pass through a controlled transfer.

Schematic. A layer marked “public network” can be reached from outside the organisation’s perimeter; the others cannot. The mode is the organisation’s choice, settled before design begins.
